Welcome to World Tree (the "App"), a location-based historical travel application operated by Infeather LLC. By accessing or using our mobile application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using World Tree, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

World Tree provides AI-powered conversations with historical figures based on your location or selected destinations. The conversations are generated by artificial intelligence and are for entertainment and educational purposes.

No Political Position or Endorsement

Important: World Tree is a cultural and educational platform. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all content, features, and service decisions (including but not limited to historical figure selection, region availability, content moderation, and exclusionary policies) do not constitute:

• A political statement, endorsement, or position on any issue
• Recognition or non-recognition of any government, territorial claim, or political entity
• An opinion on the legitimacy of any conflict, dispute, sovereignty claim, or political situation
• Support for or opposition to any political party, movement, ideology, or policy

Our service decisions are made solely for user safety, cultural responsibility, legal compliance, and operational purposes. We aim to maintain neutrality while providing educational and entertaining content about world history and culture.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use World Tree. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

User Responsibility for Shared Content

You are solely responsible for any AI-generated content that you copy, share, screenshot, or distribute outside of the World Tree app. This includes but is not limited to:

• Screenshots of conversations shared on social media
• Text copied from AI responses and posted elsewhere
• Content forwarded to messaging apps or email
• Any other form of external distribution or republication

By sharing World Tree content outside the app, you acknowledge that:

• You assume all liability for how that content is used, interpreted, or acted upon
• World Tree and Infeather LLC are not responsible for any consequences resulting from your sharing
• AI-generated content may be misunderstood, offensive, factually incorrect, or harmful when taken out of context
• You must comply with all applicable laws regarding content sharing in your jurisdiction
• You should clearly identify shared content as AI-generated and from World Tree to avoid misrepresentation

5. AI-Generated Content and Safety

Entertainment Purposes Only

Important Disclaimer: All conversations with historical figures are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided solely for entertainment and educational enrichment purposes. By using World Tree, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content is not professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to legal, medical, financial, or safety advice
• You should not rely on AI responses for any decisions that could affect your health, safety, legal rights, or financial situation
• World Tree is not a substitute for professional historical research, academic sources, or expert consultation

AI Accuracy and Limitations

You acknowledge and accept that:

• Artificial intelligence can and does make factual mistakes, including historical inaccuracies, geographical errors, and anachronisms
• AI responses may contain fictional elements, speculative content, or hallucinated information presented as fact
• While we strive for historical accuracy, the content should not be relied upon as factual without independent verification from authoritative sources
• AI models are trained on data that may contain biases, errors, or outdated information
• The AI does not have real-time information and may provide outdated responses

Content Moderation

We employ automated content moderation systems to help maintain a safe and appropriate environment. However:

• Content moderation systems may produce false positives (blocking appropriate content) or false negatives (missing inappropriate content)
• We cannot guarantee that all inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content will be detected or blocked
• You are responsible for evaluating the appropriateness of AI-generated content for your own use
• Users can report content they believe is unsafe or inappropriate through the in-app reporting features

By using World Tree, you agree to use the service at your own risk and acknowledge these limitations of AI-generated content.

6. Exclusionary Regions and Service Limitations

Restricted Availability

World Tree does not generate or serve fictional local composite figures in certain regions where such content may pose safety, ethical, or political concerns. These include but are not limited to:

• Regions experiencing active armed conflict or war
• Areas under severe government censorship or information control
• Disputed or politically contested territories
• Regions with documented human rights concerns or ethnic conflict

Limited Features in Excluded Regions

In exclusionary regions, you acknowledge and accept that:

• GPS-based location features will be disabled for safety and ethical reasons
• Local composite figures will not be available in these regions
• Only pre-existing historical, cultural, and natural guides will be accessible
• Guides in these regions will not discuss current events, political topics, or ongoing conflicts
• All content will focus on cultural heritage and pre-2020 historical information

No Political Position or Endorsement

Important: The inclusion of any region in our exclusionary list is solely for user safety and cultural responsibility purposes. It does not constitute:

• A political statement or endorsement of any position
• Recognition or non-recognition of any government or territorial claim
• An opinion on the legitimacy of any conflict, dispute, or political situation

Right to Modify Service Availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service or any features in any region at any time, with or without notice, to comply with legal requirements, maintain safety, or uphold ethical standards.

7. Subscription and Payments

Free and Premium Features

World Tree offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features require a paid subscription processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system.

Billing

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
• You will be charged through your Apple ID account
• Prices are shown in the app and subject to change with notice
• Cancellation can be done through your iOS Settings at any time

Refunds

All purchases are processed through Apple. Refund requests must be made through Apple's support system according to their refund policies.

8. Intellectual Property

Our Rights

World Tree and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Infeather LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create (such as messages). By using the service, you grant us a license to use, display, and process your content to provide and improve our services.

9. Privacy and Data

Your use of World Tree is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and use information as described in that policy, including conversation history and location data necessary to provide our services.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Warranties

The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• Accuracy, reliability, completeness, or truthfulness of AI-generated content
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Fitness for any particular purpose
• Historical accuracy of AI-generated conversations
• Suitability of content for educational, professional, or decision-making purposes
• Effectiveness of content moderation systems

AI Content Disclaimer

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• All AI-generated content is for entertainment purposes only and is not intended to be relied upon for any professional, educational, legal, medical, financial, or safety-related decisions
• AI responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or completely fabricated information
• We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on AI-generated content
• You use the service and rely on any AI-generated content entirely at your own risk

Content Moderation Disclaimer

While we employ content moderation systems, we make no guarantee regarding:

• Detection or blocking of all inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Accuracy of content moderation decisions
• Prevention of exposure to content you may find objectionable

We are not liable for any harm, offense, or damages resulting from AI-generated content that passes through our moderation systems or is incorrectly blocked by them.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Infeather LLC and World Tree shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

AI Content and Moderation Liability

Without limiting the foregoing, you agree that Infeather LLC and World Tree are not liable for:

• Any reliance on, decisions based on, or actions taken in response to AI-generated content
• Inaccuracies, errors, omissions, or misleading information in AI responses
• Harmful, offensive, inappropriate, or objectionable content generated by the AI or not detected by moderation systems
• False positives or false negatives from automated content moderation
• Any harm resulting from content that was blocked (false positive) or allowed (false negative) by our moderation systems
• Any psychological, emotional, financial, or other harm resulting from AI-generated content
• Loss of educational or professional opportunities due to reliance on AI-generated information

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to liability, or $100 USD, whichever is less.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
